The American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare is a society of distinguished scholars and practitioners dedicated to achieving excellence in the field of social work and social welfare through high-impact work that advances social good.
The Academy selected a class of 12 new fellows in 2014, including IWRI’s Director Karina Walters, PhD. The induction ceremony was held in Tampa, Florida, on October 25, 2014
