Beverly Patchell, PhD, APRN, CNS, PMH-BC (Cherokee/Creek) is an Assistant Professor at the University of Utah College of Nursing and Program Director of the DNP Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program. She has an extensive background in working with many Native American communities. Her community-based participatory research has addressed substance abuse, mental health, cancer, HIV/AIDS, diabetes, interpersonal violence, and stress response/reduction.
