Get exercise- Hiking, running, basketball, and other healthy choices naturally increase endorphins (chemicals that make us feel good) in our bodies.
Get involved in the community- Volunteering, tutoring, and joining a club or extracurricular activity help us focus on other things in our lives that are fulfilling.
Find new ways to manage stress- Stress can be dealt with using meditation, prayer, talking with a counselor, and getting a massage.
Expand your support network- Reconnect with old friends or family. Call them on the phone or do a healthy activity that you both enjoy.
